In the beginning

Hello readers,

After a short break, due to both academic and non-academic commitments, I have begun to write the introduction. Although headway for now is slow, I do have an idea of where this project should be going. With some clear headings written I can begin to formulate the structure and then determine a rough word count. Although I shall try to adhere to it, I cannot help but think I may over/under run in differing sections. but that is the process of writing I suppose!

In doing some research I have tried to contact governmental bodies surrounding the areas of interest to my project, unfortunately to no avail. Maybe a phone-call will help…

In any case, I am enjoying my research and have much more to go yet! Best stop writing here then…

Thanks for reading!

The inspiration

Hello viewers of my blog!

From looking at the title of this blog, you must be wondering what I am going to be writing about. Well, this shall be a complementary publication to my undergraduate dissertation project at the University of Lincoln, and as such I shall be keeping you updated with the difficulties and breakthroughs of my research. My title has been submitted (although it seems rather early to decide on the title) and is as follows: “Does UK Drugs of Abuse’s policy make research? A correlative investigation between publications, policies, and regulations following the control of Amphetamines and Psilocybin based substances.”

The inspiration behind myself starting this blog – I shall admit I was not planning to start it yet – is the awful daytime TV that plagues us. Well, that and I have started to do research into the groups of Amphetamines and Psilocybins. Maybe one more than the other – haha!

I shall be keeping you all updated at least once a week, although I cannot guarantee a defined date and time, so just keep watch.

I hope you enjoy reading these updates half as much as I am going to enjoy researching and writing my dissertation, and by extension this blog.

Thanks guys and have a good week!
